Keyboard ] [ Tips ] Grips ] Words ] Common Words ] Sentence ] Test ] Extra ]

Bend your fingers slightly and place them on the home row (basic) keys (see normal position).

Make sure that the keys g and h remain free.

Keep your eyes on the screen ahead of you.  Never take your eyes off the screen to look at the keyboard! Type the following exercises until you can type them without errors. Set the measure on 30 keystrokes per minute at the beginning

and try to type one alphabetic character on every measure.  Do not attempt

to set a speed record.

Say out loud each alphabetic character as you type it and also say the word the word "space" as you tap the spacebar.  E.g.  ffjj space ffjj space etc.  Keep your eyes on the screen as you type!

Each lesson unit must be perfectly typed twice.
