Faruk Caglar

 

I completed my PhD in Computer Science at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee USA. I was graduate research assistant at Distributed Object Computing (DOC) group at Institute for Software Integrated Systems (ISIS). My research area at DOC group includes cloud computing, big data, internet of things (IoT), and cyber physical systems. My PhD advisor is Prof. Aniruddha Gokhale.

I received my MS in Computer and Information Systems Engineering degree from Tennessee State University (TSU) and I was research assistant at Robotics and Intelligient Systems Laboratory (RISL).

My thesis topic was Development of an Autonomous Mobile Robot Outdoor Navigation System. Additionally, I have Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD.Net), and Java Certified Professional (JCP) certificates.
