Shashank Shekhar
About Me
I am a fourth year Computer Science PhD student at Vanderbilt University and work as graduate research assistant at Distributed Object Computing (DOC) Group at Institute for Software Integrated Systems under the guidance of Dr. Aniruddha Gokhale.
My research areas include distributed systems, cloud computing and big data with focus on development of adaptive resource management algorithms for internet of things (IoT) devices in cloud. I received B.E. in computer science and engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Vanderbilt, I worked for Red Hat, Teradata and Hewlett Packard. Recently, I interned at Avaya Labs.
