My research interests are Distributed Systems, Component Oriented Technologies ( EJB, CORBA, COM, .NET ), Distributed Object Computing, Object Models, Software Architecture, Software methodologies and paradigms, Frameworks, Design Patterns. My specific interest lies in component-oriented middleware which is an area of application of Software Architecture and Object Technology to Distributed Systems. Grid Computing and Wireless Sensor networks are an extension of Distributed Systems which I am keen to explore.

Technical Interests

  • I just love programming. I love all the high-level languages that also give you the power of playing with and controlling the underlying system. In that respect, I really love C++. Because its the sheer power and understanding of the underlying complexity that thrills me about C++. It leverages the capabilities of C that enables the programmer to establish a better control of the system. C++ is a language that teaches you a lot about software design, Object-Oriented thinking, frameworks and design patterns. It is the language of every programmer.
  • I like to design system architectures and frameworks and build them. I love System Building as a whole.
