CoSMIC Related Projects

A number of research projects are related to the CoSMIC project and have been used synergistically. These projects range from other modeling tools to runtime middleware infrastructures. Prominent among these are listed below.

Middleware Projects

CIAO CORBA Component Middleware currently developed by the DOC group within ISIS in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Vanderbilt University.

Modeling and Aspect-oriented Software Development Tools

Constraint Specification Aspect Weaver (C-SAW) developed by the SOFTCOM Laboratory in the Department of Computer and Information Science at University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Cadena model checker developed at the SAnToS Laboratory in the Computer and Information Science Department at Kansas State University.

System Execution Modeling Tools

The Component Workload Emulator (CoWorkEr) Utilization Test Suite (CUTS) developed by James H. Hill, who is a member of the DOC group within ISIS at Vanderbilt University.
